SHE WAS THE GODDESS OF BEAUTY, LOVE AND FERTILITY.
DAUGHTER OF ZEUS AND DIONE.
CHILDREN: AENEAS (BY ARCHISES), HERMAPHRODITUS (BY HERMES), EROS (BY HERMES), AND HERMONIA (BY ARES).
SHE HAD THE POWER TO MAKE ANY IMMORTAL AND MORTAL MAN FALL IN LOVE WITH HER.
SHE WAS BORN IN THE SEA BUT AFTER ZEUS FOUND HER, HE THOUGHT OF PUTTING HER ON MOUNT OLYMPUS AND SHE BECAME THE GODDESS OF LOVE, BEAUTY, AND FERTILITY.
IT IS TO BE BELIEVED THAT SHE WAS FOUND IN A SHELL IN THE OCEAN BEFORE ZEUS FOUND HER.
WHEN SHE WALKS ON GRASS ALL OF THE FLOWERS SPRING UP.
SHE WAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GODDESS ON MOUNT OLYMPIA. SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND KIND. BUT SOME TIMES SHE WANTED REVENGE. LIKE ALL GODS AND MORTAL, APHRODITE'S BEAUTY USUALLY GOT THE BEST OF HER. WHICH MADE HER JEALOUS.
Although she was married off to Haestus (god of smithing) she currently had other lovers. Zeus fave Aphrodite Haestus because he was afraid that Aphrodite would be the cause of quarrel between gods.
Aphrodite's love was so much more than anything that the Greek Gods and Goddesses thought it meant. She was never true to any of her lovers because she always found a way to go and find more mortals and immortals to fall in love with.
Here is a drawing of Aphrodite.
Aprodite with her bird, and her dolphin while she was coming out of her shell from under water.
Aprodite was the goddess of love, beauty. Here is a picture of her wih some birds looking down to find love for every one.
The reason why I chose purple, red/pink, and light pink is because she was the goddess of love, and beauty. The colors represent love, and passion. The music that I have selected was music that showed her passion for luring immortal and mortal men to become in love with her. And these facts also give a description of what her life was like when she was alive and on Mount Olympia.
